Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead Juice Recipes
Fat Sick And Nearly Dead has inspired millions to start losing body fat, and fix their diets by the power of juicing fruits and vegetables.
Some Juice Recipes Are so effective at helping in the fat loss process.
Although I don’t want to tell you the whole story, I would like to share some things I learned from the film:
- Although no one out of the hundreds of people Joe talked to blamed anyone but themselves for their poor health or eating habits, the consensus was that they didn’t think they possessed the willpower to eat healthfully.
- The typical American plate only consists of one-quarter vegetables, which are either over-cooked or in some form of potato. “Would you like fries with that?”
- Eating fresh fruits and vegetables isn’t cheap, but it’s a lot cheaper than having to treat multiple health ailments due to poor nutrition and lack of exercise. Cost to juice – around $400/month. Cost of heart attack – around $58,000. Buying fresh produce looks like the better deal, right?
- In the U.S., 70% of adults over the age of 21 take medications, 29% take 5 or more medications. After 60 days of juicing (the fruit and veggie kind of course), Joe’s doctor discovered he no longer needed the medications he had depended on for so many years.
- One woman who took Joe up on his 10-day juice fast challenge reported increased energy, clearer skin, and no longer suffered from migraines.
- Only 1 person out of the 400 Joe met asked for help: Phil, a truck driver from Arizona who had the same condition as Joe. He not only lost a ton of weight and got healthy, but found purpose to his life and served as an inspiration to his family and community. Such an awesome story!
I’d like to clarify that while this film is about juicing, it’s not just about juicing. It’s about choosing fresh food over processed food. It’s about taking responsibility for and control of your health. It’s about choosing life and living it. I think that’s something we can all get behind.

Drew Canole moved from Florida just over a year ago to hit the reset button on his health and business.
Having tried every fad diet and exercise regimen on the market, and frustrated with their lack of sustainable result, he was inspired to Juice Vegetables daily after watching the popular documentary, “Fat Sick And Nearly Dead” which shows the effects of juicing on the morbidly obese.
The incredibly fast results from his new habit of two juices per day transformed not only his body, but his view on how to really lose weight and keep it off.
After fielding non-stop questions about “how he did it” Drew penned his first book called “The New Lean” and his second quickly followed called “Juice Up Your Life.”
Over the past 6 months people from all over the country have sought out Drew Canole for help in transforming their lives as well.
Tar’lese Riduex, who chose Drew for her transformation said:
“After looking at hundreds of so called experts, Drew Canole was the most congruent with his message. As a person who has never enjoyed eating most vegetables, I thought this would be a challenge I wouldn’t be able to complete. But his Juice Recipes made these the tastiest drinks I’ve ever had and his methods made them quick and easy to prepare. The first week was the most difficult and yet exhilarating experience I can remember with changes I never thought I would see so quickly.”

Body Fat Test – The Bod Pod 3%
Drew and his buddy Carlo Lan decide to go to the “Bod Pod.” Needless to say it was like entering a scene from the hit movie “Contact.” Carlo went in and claimed to have been missing for 3.5 years. He went in with no beard and came back looking like Tom Hanks in the film “Castaway.” If you are looking at getting an accurate body fat test done, check out the Bod Pod. Below is a little information about it.
******
The BOD POD Gold Standard Body Composition Tracking System is an Air Displacement Plethysmograph which uses whole-body densitometry to determine body composition (fat and fat-free mass) in adults and children. It is a complete turnkey system based on the same gold standard operating principle as hydrostatic (or “underwater”) weighing, except that the BOD POD uses patented Air Displacement Plethysmography, instead of water, for highly accurate, fast, and safe results.
The BOD POD also offers information on Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) and Total Energy Expenditure (TEE) as an optional component of every body composition test. This data is provided without requiring the subject to perform any additional testing maneuvers, and a complete assessment requires only about 5 minutes.
BOD POD Gold Standard Highlights:
* Proven accuracy using whole-body density measurement.
* Uses a dedicated computer system with data management capability.
* Option to either directly measure a subject’s Thoracic Gas Volume (TGV)
* Provides information on fat and fat-free mass, Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR)
* Fast test time (about 5 minutes).

Read More »Bill Maher – The Obesity Problem In America?
Wow, I just woke up from a dream last night. I went back into time 1908 to be exact and realized how bad my life would suck without WiFi. This quickly became a nightmare when I couldn’t update my Facebook status or order something I don’t need off Amazons 1 Click. After realizing it was a dream, I thought it would be cool to interact with some of the people and tell them about what was happening in 2010.
I was in the middle of New York City when I whispered in this mans ear. “I’m from the future.” Thought this kind of entrance would be funny.
He took me seriously…Probably because I had on my newest “blue lulu-lemon athletic shirt made out of bald eagle and nano technology”. (Yes, this is a shameless plug for our favorite lululemon store at 9th & G downtown San Diego, 92101)
He quickly told me after dropping half his bag of salted peanuts (the French fry of the day) on the cold tile below, “That I was late for my show…follow me”. He then prodded me along to a booth that smelled like the inside of my grandmothers’ wooden leg.
So, there I was in the little booth. People were all wearing hats and had bad teeth. I thought my dream had shifted and I was somehow in present day England (sorry, bad teeth people). Nope, still in New York circa 1908. People were actually friendly in NY back then. What happened? Continuing in the dream, I looked over to my left and I was even more bewildered.
There was a normal looking guy, looked like my old math teacher in elementary school Mr. Smith. Here is the picture I took in my dream with my new iphone 9.3g with retinal scan and old school black and stale yellow photography.
Looks normal doesn’t he?
Well in my dream and in 1908 people actually paid to see this guy. He was considered to be a “freak”.
That’s right…a freak…of the circus variety kind.
Can you believe it? Bill Maher even talked about this guy (the chubby one in the pic above) on his show a while back.
My heart started to race in my dream realizing that I had a mission to take care of upon “waking up”. I had to let you know that although this was only my dream it is very real and it was like this in 1908. Hold on a sec, be right back, going to grab some peanuts.
Ok, I’m back.
What was once considered to be a “freak show” is now about 70% or more of our population: (According to the latest National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, an estimated 34.2 percent of U.S. adults over 20 years old are overweight, 33.8 percent are obese, and 5.7 percent are extremely obese.). We must all take action before the consequences of an unhealthy country seep into all aspects of our lives.
Skyrocketing healthcare costs, diseases related to unhealthy lifestyles (type II diabetes), and a decreased state of mental well-being are just some of the consequences for our nation. Fitlife.tv is here for you on every level. We know that to have a healthy body, one must first obtain a healthy mind!
Feel free to share this story with anybody that has, or wants to have the FitLife.tv mentality and way of life.
