Cory Boatright Transformation – Video 1

Cory Boatright Transformation – Video 1

What do my nipples, Pinocchio and Facebook, have to do with your health?

Pinocchio was a 1940′s fictional character that taught us how “not to” lie when we are kids.

Remember the movie… little wooden doll, given to an evil dude? Treated P, like a slave. Poor P.

It got me thinkin’

How come so many people lie day in and day out, when they are adults…

Your Pinocchio Past…

This is where you told lies about yourself that happened in the past…

And for a good many of us we still hold onto our Pinocchio Past.

Cory Boatright, our newest transformation client was holding onto his Pinnochio past.

-       Going to bed at 2am, waking up at 11. (For really no reason.)

-       Not eating breakfast, bypassing lunch and only eating once a day.

-       Eating foods that tasted great, but had no nutritional merit.

-       Snacking on chips, popcorn, soda and other snack foods that feed our cravings even more.

-       Putting work and money before health.

Aside from these lies…he also had many truths that have really helped him with success and serving others.

-       He believes that the more he gives back the more he will be rewarded. (He gives away 10% or more of everything he makes.)

-       Investing in himself is bar none the best investment, especially something like health or our coaching.

-       Laser sharp focus. Not doing 85 things at once but focusing on 1 thing at a time and becoming a master of that 1 thing before moving on.

-       Saying something like “I believe in you.” To the people you care about “could be” one of the most powerful phrases we could ever speak.

When is the last time you told someone you cared about and believed in…

…..YOU believe in them?

  • HOMEWORK: Tell someone that you believe in them, and really mean it. Report back to us via Facebook Comments below. Let us know what happens.

Also, watch this video… Pay attention to what motivates Cory to take this challenge.

What happened in vegas?

What happened in vegas?

“What Legacy are you creating?”

This was the last question I mentioned to Cory Boatright before being picked up via town car and taken to the Las Vegas Airport.

It was the conclusion of a long weekend of networking with some of the most brilliant entrepreneurs and marketers on the planet.

Ok, it wasn’t all talk… there was an occasional cocktail and “stupid face.” (More on this later.)

Let’s get back to Cory…

Cory and I have talked a lot. On many occasions about his life purpose and what he is consciously creating in this life.

Do you have people like this in your own life?

I’m truly blessed to be surrounded by people like Cory.

He’s helped me, more then once with ideas about business strategy and systems and even relationships.

Don’t tell him I told you this but he’s kind of a metaphysical tech nerd.

Aside, from doing nerdy things like developing a million dollar a year real estate business he was once in a Taco Bell commercial. (Kind of cool, right?)

We spoke a couple of weeks ago and he was telling me how rapidly his life was expanding and the amazing things that were unfolding.

Then it happened….

I asked him the same question I ask all of my uber-succesful Legacy Club peeps.

Are you taking care of yourself?

You are helping thousands of people all over the world, but are you taking care of yourself?

The prior year, Cory spent traveling around the world with the love of his life…Ivy.

They fed baby tigers, rode elephants and Indulged in some of the most decadent and delicious foods all over planet earth.

Let’s just say he put on some baby weight and he’s not pregnant. (You know what I’m talking about.)

At the end of the conversation we discovered he was probably eating healthier then 90% of the population but 90% is NOT GOOD ENOUGH for a guy that is playing a really LARGE GAME in this life.

Long story short, we decided to invite him into the club. He’s here for a HUGE purpose in this life and I personally want to help him add a couple decades onto his life span.

So with that…

I’m now sitting on a plane writing you this…

Destination – OKLAHOMA

Have I been to OK… never.

I’m looking forward to it though. I’m currently traveling 4 times in the next 30 days… at first I was like.

“I REALLY need to figure out a way to automate what I do. Traveling is a pain in the ass.”

(I quickly reframed this to.)

I Love to travel and I’m always in my right place. When it comes time to automate the right people will show themselves to me.

Also, with all of this new technology and the explosion of social media, far to many of us get stuck behind our keyboards when we can and always will make a bigger impact in person.

You never know who you can inspire or create a space of change when sitting in the terminal or on the plane.

I’ve had multiple people email me years later to tell me that the conversation we’ve had changed who they were and where they were headed….

AND “THAT” my friend is what this life is all about.

Ttys…

0 – 60 Day Transfomation Redefined

“I travel so much, I don’t have time to workout like you do Drew.”

“IF this is going to work, it is going to have to be simple…”

” I know I already eat healthier than 98% of the population, what else could it be?”

If you have ever said any of these, I want you to meet my friend Jason Medley. Jason was determined to get in the best shape of his life…

He hired me and Fitlife.tv to come in and transform him. It’s not everyday we get to work with someone with so much mental tenacity to get it done! Jason knew when he started that it wasn’t going to be easy… if it was easy everyone would do it, he told me in a phone call.

Jason runs one of the most successful real estate master minds on the planet and knows what it takes to not only motivate himself but others. (ME INCLUDED)

I could go on and on giving him praises but let’s let the TRANSFORMATION speak for itself.

IMAGINE WHAT A TRANSFORMATION LIKE THIS WOULD DO FOR YOU?

We will be interviewing Jason soon, to ask him these types of questions, but for now make sure you TAKE ACTION on your own transformation.

Hypo Thyroid Disorder – Kick It In The Balls

Hypo Thyroid Disorder – Kick It In The Balls

Alright Fitlifers, it is a great pleasure of mine to introduce to you Brittany Brown. Brittany is a Real Estate agent in Tampa FL and has a strong love of health and fitness. She has a strong mental outlook on her life. Enjoy her. Her story. Her triumphs and her strong mental attitude that ultimately kicked Hypo Thyroid Disorder in the balls.

I’d say all in all it took me 6 months for the transformation. I went from 150 – 135 in about 3 months. That’s about 2 lbs a week. 135 may sound higher than someone would shoot for, but everyone is different. In general that is a pretty healthy weight for me. I was 127 around that photoshoot time, and hung out in the low 130′s between shoots etc. I never tested my body fat, but rather than just my weight dropping, my body composition changed drastically.

Naturally, I am curvy, thicker, pear shaped, with the same or worse trouble spots as any woman out there. I have hypo(slow)-thyroid disorder and some other issues. This was NO reason to think that a **positive mindset**, proper nutrition, and the right fitness regimen couldn’t take me where I wanted to be.

Regardless of someones circumstances, it is never helpful to play the victim card.

I fell into that trap for a little bit, and struggled with my weight forever. I NEVER thought I’d be able to wear shorts etc. I seriously hadn’t since high school even when I was in “good shape”. I thought my body type just didn’t allow it. After changing my diet from “low fat, low carb” with a bunch of processed foods to an all natural and organic healthy way of eating it really helped balance me out.

Thor Workout! Chris Hemswoth FitLife.TV

As a kid I used to run around the playground “pre-tending” I was a super-hero of sorts. Ok, I didn’t pretend… I really believed I had the ability to move objects with my mind. Don’t lie, I’m sure you did the same thing…. person shaking their head in dis belief.

Nonetheless, it’s not often where we have the opportunity at FitLife to talk to someone who trains like a super hero. I discovered Eric Cressey while reading the Men’s Health magazine and he just happened to “come up” with the Thor workout in the magazine. Which by the way is amazing.

Tar’lese Shares How She Lost Over 40 Pounds, While Sleeping Like A Baby And Putting Her Nutrition On Auto-Pilot

Beat Down By Depression After A Nasty Break Up And Gaining 40 Pounds Of Body Fat, Tar’Lese Turned To The Juice Up Your Life And Drew For Help!

Inspiration Strikes

FitLife.tv Transformation What inspired me: One day I decided ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, I made a choice to stop coming up with excuses as to why I didn’t have the time to take control of my weight and take action. I struggled with depression and realized that I used food to sooth my pain and worries. I quickly gained over 40lb in about 18 months.

I ran into an old classmate and he asked, ” So how far along are you? My wife is pregnant too” WOW!! If that wasn’t a wakeup call, I am not sure what would be. As I thought about it the more I realized that it was not so much about losing the weight as it was about being HEALTHY!!

I went to see a nutritionist who quickly informed me that she was really worried because my body fat % was OVER 40%!! My father died of a heart attack and to hear a Dr. tell me that she is worried that I would end up on the same path scared me. I knew that it was time to get my body AND my mind right.

Transformation Begins FitLife.TV

Transformation is a process where one moves from one form to the next.

You “shed” the old skin and become anew. Very few people have the ability to demonstrate this on command. They get stuck in the bad mental paradigms and constructs of, what if I try and fail? To transform we must see that in the failing you are over coming your learned behavior of not attempting and playing life the “safe” way.

It’s easy to stay where you are in life.

It’s hard to burn the ships and go for what you REALLY want? What do you really want in this life? Have you lost track of your dreams, goals and desires to play it safe?

In my humble opinion, if you are not playing to the edge, you are NOT playing at all. Check out FitLife.TV as they prepare to make their way across the country to help a transformation client in a 90 day challenge.

Patricia Martinez-Recharging Energy Levels and Restoring Balance

Patricia Martinez-Recharging Energy Levels and Restoring Balance

Although She Looks Great, She Lacked Energy

Patricia was always a tenacious client. The first session she boasted that she had once done 30 pushups in a bar during happy hour, just to prove she could. I skeptically thought that she was frankly, well, lying. My reluctance immediately prompted her to get on her toes with her bodyweight supported in a plank position and showed me the best 30 pushups I had every seen a female client give.

Wow ☺

“Alright,” I thought to myself, “this is going to be the easiest client I have ever trained…” Patricia came to me to transform her athletic body into a sleek and sexy figure for her wedding dress. Her transformation would be pleasingly aesthetic but with a focus on improving diet and holistic lifestyle.

Patricia displayed a tremendous and toned physique but always wanted to work on certain trouble areas that bother many women; arms, stomach, thighs. I pushed her to the limits during her training sessions, sometimes to the point of exhaustion or fainting. Yet, she stayed motivated toward her target from the flood of compliments coming in from friends and family. It was motivation for both of us to keep going.

After the first 4 months of training up to her wedding, Patricia hit a plateau. I suspected a lack of energy and mental fatigue were the culprits. Patricia admitted that her constant travelling for work was making her sick frequently and it was often hard to get out of bed in the morning. She also complained of constant soreness in her back and a strain in her piriformis. We promptly devised a system of myofascial release on a foam roller to smoothen adhesions and promote blood flow to the trouble areas. But there was a bigger underlying cause. I suspected that Patricia’s adrenal glands were starting to burn out. She had told me of cravings for sweets, low blood sugar, irritability, and a lack of joy when exercising. Bingo.

Resistance Training on the TRX

It was excessive stress brought on from her job and preparing for the wedding that seemed to cause this adrenal fatigue. Patricia lacked certain nutrients in her body that were causing this flare of adrenal instability. I explained how too many carbohydrates, especially refined carbohydrates, could also contribute. Also low protein can create difficulties.

I had Patricia keep a Picture Food Journal for me. She would take a photo of everything that she ate throughout the day and send it to me via MMS. I would respond instantly, making suggestions or small amendments if need be. After a week of review, we decided to put her on a gluten and dairy free diet. She was to focus on eating ¾ of  her plate consisting of cruciferous and in-season vegetables, with the remaining ¼ of a lean protein like fish or chicken. Fresh Extra Virgin Olive Oil and lemon juice were to season the rest of her food. We made sure she used fresh spices for more antioxidants and nutrient value. We also made sure that she juiced fresh vegetables with a dash of fruit at least one time per day.

Within 2 weeks Patricia’s energy soared. She swore she was digesting better, sleeping deeper, recovering from workouts better, and in an overall better mood. Not only that, water weight began to disappear from her body. It seemed the more veggies that she ate, the less stubborn fat wanted to stay on her body. She looked lean and back to the tenacious women I had met 8 months earlier. Her friends and family were amazed that these changes could be brought on so quick just by employing vast quantities of vegetables, a good mind-set, and sound training.

Patricia is a friend and member of The Legacy Club at FitLife TV. We are extremely proud of her progress and distinct dedication to eating cleanly. Her energy levels have been sustained. She now swears by the healing powers of juicing raw vegetables and avoid gluten and dairy in her diet. Thank you for all of your hard work Patricia! Your transformation is inspiring to all of us.

Heavy Compound Movements for Size and Fat Burning

Neal Rosow-Power Lifter to Power Spectacle!

    Strong and Beefy

“The tragedy in life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach.”

    ~Benjamin Mays

Transformations are built through certain stages of progression. Each path has its own qualities that allow our own decisions to be validated and further reciprocated. FitLife TV is very proud to display one of its good friends and his journey to physical strength and health in body and mind.

Our first experience with Neal Rosow was shock! A grunt and foot slam resonated the gym floor and literally startled us. “Who is this guy?” we muttered. Without a flinch of effort Neal power snatched an 80lb dumbbell with ease overhead. Seeing Neal demonstrate this tremendous strength was aw inspiring to say the least. This struck our first conversation.

Neal had started Olympic and Power Training in college at the University of Connecticut. Not only had he competed in a power lifting competition, benching 335, squatting 450, and snatching 185lb, but he also decided to display his physique in bodybuilding competition.

Neal did not place well in the bodybuilding like he had in the power lifting competition. He blamed his physique solely on genetics. But, we know better than that at FitLife TV and it was inspiring to discuss diet with Neal. He explained his current methods of eating, his frequency, his pitfalls, and what he thought he could achieve in a 4 month period. We sat down together and validated his lifting program. He was working out hard enough to build muscle and burn fat during the day and the period he was not in the gym yet, he was actually not eating enough. We were surprised to hear that Neal at 5’7” 180lb was barely eating enough even after he would squat 435lb on his back for multiple reps. Sure enough, he was at a calorie deficit.

We had Neal keep a food journal for an entire week through his camera phone. He would send each meal to us via MMS per day and we would make recommendations on the spot. After 3 short weeks, we had redone his caloric intake to achieve 2500-3500 calories on training days instead of the low 1800 calorie days he had become accustomed to. The program we devised for Neal is unique to say the least. We actually concentrated on a very high fat intake, mid to high protein intake, and a low starchy carbohydrates with 8 servings of cruciferous vegetables. Neal was only able to eat 4 meals per day so he focused on larger portions to achieve the total calories.

Neal focused on these quality fats:

    • Organic Non-Salted Butter

    • Coconut Oil

    • Peanuts, Cashes, Almonds, Walnuts

    • Olive Oil

    • Avocados

Neal also revolved his meals around these proteins:

    • Red Meat: Sirloin, T Bone, Skirt Steak

    • Chicken Breasts and Thighs

    • Any Type of Fish

    Cruciferous Vegetables

    • Broccoli

    • Asparagus

    • Bok Choy

    • Cabbage

    • Cauliflower

Neal is a gifted athlete. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and displays a tremendous ability in athletic weightlifting. Throughout his transformation, Neal typically had a program like this:

    • Snatches 6×2-3 at 85-90% max
    • Back squats (Glutes to Ground) 4×6 at 85% max
    • DumbBell walking lunges 3×10
    • Plank (variation) 3x1minute

Upper and lower body days, Neal would typically do Max OT style, 2-3sets at 4-6 reps of max weight. He would focus on compound movements, but would maintain balance with accessory and corrective work as well. He also focused on the body as an integration of all your muscles working together: “the sum is greater than its individual parts,” was a phrase Neal would always repeat to us.

Once again, FitLife.tv is proud to have Neal as a friend, trainer, and product of transformation. Neal’s focus was completely honed in. He maintained discipline and kept his spirits up by looking toward the end result. Amazing job Neal!

    Jacked! What a Spectacle!
